International Peacebuilding Students Chosen for 2023-24
July 31, 2023
Students for 2023-24 have been selected for our highly competitive MA in International Peacebuilding. The program is a one-year, residential, 36-credit, master’s degree program where students develop interreligious literacy and acquire constructive conflict intervention skills through a combination of service-learning, traditional courses, experiential courses, and project-based learning.

HIU Purchases Southern New England Conference UCC Building

Hartford International University for Religion and Peace (HIU) and Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ (SNEUCC) are pleased to announce that HIU has purchased the SNEUCC’s property at 125 Sherman Street in Hartford, a beautiful, stately brick building adjacent to its main campus building.

The Hartford International University Board of Trustees welcomed three new members at the Annual Meeting on June 20. Each of them was elected to a three-year term. Dr. Lisa Dahill was elected to a two-year term as a Faculty Trustee, and these board members were each re-elected to three-year terms: Peter Kelly, Shakeeb Alam, John Cordani, Trudie Prior, and Naseem Shaikh.
